This allows 2015+ right up to new models to be imported to Australia.

Timeframe — Several compliance workshops have sample vehicles in progress for this model, so we expect Australian compliance to be available by about April 2017.

This high end MPV is larger and a class above the Toyota Estima / Tarago, and is a direct rival to the Nissan Elgrand in terms of quality and features.

The 30 series Alphard and the sportier, more aggressively styled Vellfire have a 2.5L petrol engine coupled with Toyota’s E-Four electric 4WD system which regulates the rear-mounted, rear-wheel-propelling electric motor.

Together these generate 267 kW of power with fuel economy of just 5.43 L / 100km (18.4 km / L).

The Alphard Hybrid and Vellfire Hybrid models are readily available with many near new choices auctioned in Japan each week.
