This 2000 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR VSpec was inspected for a client at BAYAUC auction on 28 October 2015. Condition notes included scratches and chips on both bumpers which needed paint. Water marks on the roof which required buffing. Significant wear to steering wheel and driver’s seat. Pin dent and chip to RHR quarter panel. TV screen surface had numerous imperfections (common fault) but was working fine. Fitted with NISMO 18″ alloys, TRUST muffler, oil catch can, boost gauge and turbo timer. Aftermarket high rear wing was damaged and had silastic sealant applied around the base. Sign of minor rust in boot where water had been sitting (common fault). Definitely well used and not of the standard we aim for as the condition was poorer than it should have been for 75,000 kms. We recommended our client not bid on this vehicle as a result, as there is no point paying a premium for low kms if the condition does not match.

It passed in (reserve price not met) for 3,800,000 YEN FOB equivalent, and is listed as an example. Total price in Australia at the time would have been more than approx. $56,200 complied plus tyres and ORC’s (calculated at a rate of 86.41 yen to the dollar).

You helped me import a HR31 GTSX COUPE from JAPAN which has won several awards for most original import.
You also helped me import a very rare Skyline HR31 GTS-R COUPE.
The price on these have risen a fair bit since I bought mine.
I even hear that JAPAN are actually buying back some of their rare original skylines as they want to keep their heritage.
Anyway, The Skyline HR31 GTS-R will remain in my garage for ever.
The white HR31 GTS-X coupe however I plan to sell to help fund a budget American Muscle car. I have had offers of $12,000 for it which is not too bad considering it cost me 8 grand or so.
I have done a lot of the usual internet searching and received a lot of conflicting shipping quotes from different car dealers in the States.
