This one-owner 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR VSpec Bayside Blue with just 49,675 km was inspected for a client on 7 March 2018.
The low kms, popular Bayside Blue colour, together with the clean, original condition put it firmly in the collector car realm and resulted in a relatively high price at the time.
Non-smoker car and graded 4 B C. The overall condition was very good and this was clearly a well maintained vehicle kept by an enthusiast in Japan.
Very minor surface rust underneath (minimal for a GTR in Japan).
Interior was very clean and tidy. U2 pin dent on the left rear quarter panel was hard to see – just a shallow dent. W2 marked on the left front fender indicating past paint was not obvious on inspection.
Timing belt replaced in March 2007 at 20,108 km.
NISMO instrument panel fitted at 6,420 km (noted in Nissan dealer warranty book). 43,255 km showing at auction.
Factory alloy wheels included in the car together with the original instrument panel.
Aftermarket Impul exhaust and alloy wheels.
Manual and warranty book included.
It sold for 7.5 million Yen FOB, which at the time would have been approx. $115,000 complied in Australia (calculated at 82 Yen to the dollar and allowing for Luxury Car Tax).
We only source the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.
The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.
Whether you’re looking for a 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R VSpec Bayside Blue like this, or another year, make or model, we can find it for you in nice condition.
It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.
