This 1994 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R Series 3 in KL0 Spark Silver metallic with 81,475 km was inspected for a client on 11 January 2018 at USS Tokyo auction.
Engine was changed by Nissan dealer to Tomei advanced complete engine with Nismo R1 Turbo kit @ 62,504 kms.
Other aftermarket parts included Sard Injectors, R35 air flow meter, MPI air flow harness, aluminium radiator, Nismo clutch. HKS metal catalyser, CPU re-written, muffler, oil cooler, Ohlins adjustable suspension, HKS EVC6, front and rear Brembo calipers, Rays 18″ alloy wheels.
The overall condition was fairly good. Minor rust underneath and corrosion in engine bay. Mechanicals all appeared fine. However despite the 4 grading, there was an obvious front right inner repair. We did not bid on this vehicle as we could not be certain it would pass the SEVS structural damage criteria for import to Australia.
Hopefully the new owner is aware of the repair and doesn’t get a nasty surprise when they first open the bonnet…
It sold for 4,430,000 Yen FOB, which at the time would have been approx. $61,000 complied in Australia, plus tyres and on road costs (calculated at 87.4 Yen to the dollar).
We only source the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.
The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.
Whether you’re looking for a 1994 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R Series 3 like this, or another year, make or model, we can find it for you in nice condition.
It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.
