This highly collectible 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6 TME (Tommi Mäkinen Edition) in red with 88,353 km was inspected for a client at USS Nagoya auction on 12 January 2018.

It was graded 4 B, and while it was a solid car overall with relatively low kms, there were a number of faults to mention.

Fading was noticeable on the body in numerous places including the overfenders, bonnet and bumpers. Clearcoat was peeling on the front fender and there was slight damage to one of the decals.

There was some surface rust mainly around the rear floor. The radiator was leaking coolant.

Engine was running OK, no warning lights were on and everything mechanical appeared to be fine.

Interior was decent but needed a clean and tidy up.

Aftermarket parts included adjustable shocks / suspension, air cleaner, muffler and clutch.

This was a good used TME example requiring paintwork and general attention, not a museum piece.

It sold for 3,795,000 Yen FOB, approx. $53,500 complied, plus tyres and on road costs (calculated at 87 Yen to the dollar).

These have become extremely rare over the last couple of years and have doubled in price over the same period.

We only source the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.

The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.

Whether you’re looking for a 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6 TME (Tommi Mäkinen Edition) in red like this one, or another make or model, we can find it for you.

It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.
