Report:
Dirty interior (worn, scratches, cigarette burn)
Scratches on alloy wheels
Dent and scratches on body
On inspection we found the overall condition to be OK for a NISMO of this age, but not as good as the kms alone would indicate. It was quite affected by sun / heat with noticeable interior damage and past paint on some of the body – probably the rear of the car up to the C-pillar and possibly bonnet as well.
Sabelt harness, sticker on the boot lid and overall condition indicated it may have seen some limited track use. Engine was running well.
Faults noted on inspection:
Electronic air con display not working
Wear on steering wheel
Inner door trim sagging
Rear inner trim sagging
Needs new tyres
Door rubbers worn both sides
Minor marks around body – nothing major
Cigarette burn on console left side of the gear shift
Shift knob was quite worn but the auction report mentioned another being sent following auction so perhaps this was not the original item.
W3 (wavy paint) was most noticeable on the C-pillar, quarter itself is hard to tell without close inspection.
This 1990 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR NISMO sold for 5.415 million Yen FOB, or approx. $80,000 complied, plus tyres and on road costs (at 82 Yen to the dollar).
