Scratches on the interior trim was the only negative point noted.
On inspection the vehicle presented in near new condition.
It passed in (reserve price not met) for 800,000 Yen. Negotiation price started from 830,000 Yen, which at the time with all import costs allowed for, would have equated to approx. $18,400 complied in Australia (calculated at 81 Yen to the dollar).
So about $19,000 complied would probably be enough to buy it.
