This Feb 2000 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR VSpec in white with 98,817 km was inspected for a client at USS Tokyo auction on 16 November 2017.
Graded 4 B but actual condition on inspection was very disappointing. Clearly not well maintained with a lot of obvious rust in the body and corrosion of other parts as pictured.
Auction report mentioned – wear and tear to interior, rust underneath, scratches on alloys, small scratches and dents (repaired), factory front and rear spoiler, factory 18 inch alloy wheels, spare key, sticker on bonnet
Diagram showed W2 (wavy – possible repaint) to both rear sides, rust spot on the boot area and scrapes to the front spoiler.
The condition was obviously not suitable for our client, and we passed on this vehicle.

I have gone over the car (2002 Supra RZ twin turbo 6 speed manual) in detail and am satisfied that it is a genuinely good vehicle. A friend visiting from Japan translated much of the maintenance paperwork, it seems to have been really well maintained over the years by Toyota, kms are genuine and it is in very good mechanical condition. In fact it looks new now that all the small dings have been removed by the paintless method. We’ll see what’s next!
