View eligibility for the Honda NSX under the new 25 Year Rule
This one owner 1992 Honda NSX Coupe with just 29,240 kms was inspected for a client at USS Tokyo auction on 25 August 2016. It was graded 4.5 B.
It sold for 5,670,000 YEN FOB. Total price in Australia would have been approx. $92,000 landed plus tyres and ORC’s at the time (calculated at a rate of 76.3 yen to the dollar and including an allowance for Luxury Car Tax).
The overall condition was good given the age, with the following points noted. Original tools, jack etc were all present.
The front left bumper corner had deep scratches down to the plastic and needed paint. Left side alloy wheels had a few minor scratches. Other scratches marked on the auction sheet were only minor. Scuffing on edge of driver’s seat from getting in and out. Only minor interior wear elsewhere. Driver’s sunvisor edge had a split on the edge. Stereo was not working.
We only source the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.
Whether you’re looking for a 1992 Honda NSX Coupe like this, or another year or model of vehicle we can find it for you in nice condition.
The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.
It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.

Hey Geoff,
I just thought I would drop a line to let you know I got my Sprinter GT APEX Trueno registered yesterday. I took my time doing the compliance work and fitted a few extras to suit my taste in the process, hence the delay. Thank you again for your help throughout the process. The car is everything I was hoping for.
Again, if you want to put my car as an example on your website I am more than happy for you to use it.
In a couple months time I may have another order for you !
Cheers,
– Andrew
