This classic Nissan Skyline KGC10 was inspected for a client at HAA Kobe auction on 3 October 2015. Final price withheld at client’s request. Unknown total kms (normal for this age).
In good condition as far as older vehicles go. It was a nice solid car with very minimal rust, and had been recently “restored” in some places. The paint job was a bit sloppy, but this is typical for Japan. The main point to note was that is had solid floors and rear quarter / boot floor etc. An ideal starting point for a project as it did not need a lot of panel / rust repair and ran well. Some paint was original and some had been repainted — a few spots had cracks. A couple of the seams had been repaired underneath and inside the engine bay. No major rust anywhere. Original 2L engine with an aftermarket Solex tri-carb setup. KYB gas struts with lowered springs. Aftermarket dual muffler. Popular Watanabe alloys. Upgraded drum brakes. Aftermarket aluminium radiator, oil cooler, and ignition wires. Seats were not original and were missing the headrests (late 70’s / early 80’s racing seats). GTR badging and rear wing added.
We only source the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.
The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.
Whether you’re looking for a Nissan Skyline KGC10 like this, or another year, make or model, we can find it for you in nice condition.
It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.

Hi Geoff,
Just wanted to drop you an email to say a big thank you!! I have had the Soarer now for almost a month and it is wonderful!!
I’m getting a stereo put in soon which should be good.
The whole process with you was ace – everything ran really smoothly and on time. All the people/companies involved were terrific and I’m going back to the same workshop for a service soon. They were all so customer focused and delivered great services.
Thanks so much for all your help, guidance, and assistance over the past months. I’ve got the coolest car now!!
A few people who drive Soarers or are interested in them have been really impressed with the car and also the import process with you!! I’ve already recommended you to my family / friends if ever they decide to import a car!
Thanks a lot 🙂
Cheers, Aimee
