Honda Vezel Hybrid Import Information and SEVS import eligibility for Australia
The Nov 2013 to Nov 2021 Honda Vezel hybrid (RU3 / RU4) can be imported to Australia.
The Honda Vezel hybrid is available for import in either 2WD (front) or AWD.
The Vezel hybrid is a crossover style design based on the Honda Fit platform and is slightly smaller than the Honda CR-V.
Honda marketed the Vezel as the Honda HR-V in North America and Honda XR-V in China.
The interior design features the second-row Honda Magic Seat system (carried over from the Honda Fit) which enables the lower part of the rear seat to be folded up to carry tall items – Honda Magic Seat operation video.
The Vezel hybrid uses Honda’s sport hybrid i-DCD system which combines a 1.5 L direct injection petrol engine generating 96 kW (131 PS) / 156 Nm of torque with a 22 kW (30 PS) / 160 Nm electric motor.
The Vezel hybrid features Real Time AWD traction control and Reactive Force Pedal for improved traction on slippery roads and better fuel economy.
The hybrid Vezel has optional Honda Sensing, a package of safety features including Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDMS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF), and High Beam Support System (HBSS).

Drivetrain
1.5 L direct injection petrol engine with 96 kW (131 PS) / 156 Nm of torque with a 22 kW (30 PS) / 160 Nm electric motor.
CVT automatic transmission.
Fuel economy
27.0 km/L (3.7 L/100 km) in the Japanese JC08 cycle, this is 31% more efficient than the non-hybrid Vezel.
With a 40L fuel capacity the theoretical driving range is almost 1,100 km.
I’m looking for some advice about an R33 GTR import.
A few friends of mine have bought Skylines through you and haven’t had a problem, so you come highly recommended! 🙂
Thanks
