This white 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 MR was inspected for a client at USS Okayama on 8 June 2013.
It had TEIN suspension and aftermarket exhaust. Wear noted on shift knob and steering wheel. Underbody painted black to cover some surface rust, but inspection indicated that was only minor. EVO’s are commonly rusty and it is unusual to find one without any rust at all.
It sold for 1,730,000 YEN FOB. Total price in Australia at the time would have been approx. $27,100 complied plus tyres and ORC’s (calculated at a rate of 92.4 yen to the dollar).

The car was complied and on the road by April and it is turning out to be a great car and in excellent condition for its age and kms. There are a few mechanical issues that I am in the process of having sorted out, nothing major and to be expected for a 13 year old car. I was also very happy with the compliance workshop and Customs agent you recommended.
