COLLECTOR CAR — 1998 Rover Mini Cooper BSCC LTD model. Engine and gear box were good. Engine oil was leaking from the head cover but only minor and fairly common for this model. Overall a nice low km example.
This vehicle was inspected for a client and sold at USS Nagoya auction in Japan on 20 February 2015 for 1,555,000 YEN FOB. Total price in Australia at the time would have been approx. $27,000 complied plus tyres and ORC’s (calculated at a rate of 92.6 yen to the dollar).
We only source for import the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.
The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.
Whether you’d like to import a 1998 Rover Mini Cooper BSCC LTD like this one, or another year, make or model, we can find it for you in nice condition.
It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.

I just received my imported family Van (Toyota Estima 3L G Premium edition).
Prestige Motorsport came recommended to me from two (independent) colleagues at work.
I won’t hesitate to say that Geoff gave me the very best customer service I have ever experienced.
Geoff is obviously very used to dealing with people who have endless lists of questions, and he does a brilliant job at addressing each and every one of these in a timely manner, (all with a great deal of patience). For what you would consider to be a very nervous experience (first time buying a car that you’ve never seen in another country) all the processes are pre-documented, clear to follow and work out exactly how they were described.
Prestige Motorsport have obviously dealt with all the caveats you would expect in this type of purchase, and so the resulting experience for me was very simple and smooth.
I took my time finding the right car too for our family, and I never felt pressured to hurry it along.
So… so far so good. The estimated final prices were accurate. The car is immaculate, even the compliance shop commented on what a great example it was and that Geoff had done very well. The after sales support has also been appreciated.
Thanks Geoff, you have my highest recommendation! I would not hesitate using your services again.
