This 1992 Mazda is the type of vehicle that would be eligible for import to Australia under a proposed new 25 Year Old Vehicle Import Rule for 2018.
Had it been eligible under the proposed 25 Year Rule for Australia, the 1,760,000 Yen FOB sale price in Japan would have equated to a total price in Australia would have been approx. $26,900 landed plus compliance, tyres and ORC’s (calculated at a rate of 85.7 Yen to the dollar).
Vehicles like this are increasingly being seen as collectible not only in Japan but the rest of the world, which is driving a rapid increase in prices.

Whether you’re looking for a special edition 1992 Mazda RX-7 Type RZ like this one, or any other type of vehicle we can find it for you in nice condition with a bit of time, effort and of course the right budget.
The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.
It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.

Hey Geoff,
I just thought I would drop a line to let you know I got my Sprinter GT APEX Trueno registered yesterday. I took my time doing the compliance work and fitted a few extras to suit my taste in the process, hence the delay. Thank you again for your help throughout the process. The car is everything I was hoping for.
Again, if you want to put my car as an example on your website I am more than happy for you to use it.
In a couple months time I may have another order for you !
Cheers,
– Andrew
