This 2002 Mazda RX-7 Type RB was inspected for a client at USS Tokyo auction on 20 August 2015. It was very clean and nice with no major faults to note, only some very small scratches on the body and pin chips on the windscreen which were hardly visible. Aftermarket wheels, audio system and high rear spoiler. Factory stereo was included in a bag on the back seat.
It sold for 1,565,000 YEN FOB. Total price in Australia at the time would have been approx. $25,300 complied plus tyres and ORC’s (calculated at a rate of 91 yen to the dollar).
We only source the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.
The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.
It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.
Whether you’re looking for a 2002 Mazda RX-7 Type RB like this one, or another make, model or year of vehicle, we can source it for you.

Hi Geoff
Last August I bought a 2002 Evo 7 GTA through you with only 11,000 kms. I have since sold the car and am looking at getting another EVO.
This time I am looking at a 7 GSR, 8 GSR, 8 MR or EVO 5. I would really like a black 8 or 7 GSR but am mainly looking for good value like the example you found for me last time. I would appreciate it if you could send me some examples or or even sign me up to the auction alerts again to get an idea of the prices etc.
Regards
Sam
