This 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR VSpec was inspected for a client at HAA Kobe auction on 10 October 2015. Auction sheet stated grade RA (minor repair). It was clean in terms of rust but had signs of a very recent repair on the left front fender and left passenger door area. Existing unpainted scrape on left sideskirt and the small trim in front of the sideskirt had been removed. Front left fender had been repainted. Passenger side front pillar was noted on the auction sheet as being “bent”, after inspecting the vehicle our guess was that the front side impact had probably cracked the paint as the pillar had been filled and painted.

Another important issue was the missing manufacturer build plate from the chassis in the engine bay as you can see in the pictures, which could cause all sorts of issues in import / compliance / registration. For these reasons this was NOT the sort of vehicle we would recommend to a client. It sold for 3,520,000 YEN FOB, and is listed as an example. Total price in Australia at the time would have been approx. $51,500 complied plus tyres and ORC’s (calculated at a rate of 88.25 yen to the dollar), that is for comparison purposes assuming it were eligible for SEVS compliance (probably not due to the repair).

R34 GTR Prices ~ Where are they heading ?

We only source the best vehicles with clean and tidy interiors, and only vehicles we would be pleased to own ourselves. This is why we are constantly told by clients that the vehicles we source are well above the condition of most others on the local market.

Whether you’re looking for a clean 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR VSpec like this, or another year, make or model, we can find it for you in nice condition.

The pictures are typical of the information we provide prior to auction for each vehicle of interest, with any faults shown so you can clearly see the condition before we discuss whether to bid, and your budget.

It is vital when sourcing your vehicle to use an agent that takes the time to physically check each vehicle and looks beyond the auction pictures and report to confirm condition. Some vehicles may have an unpleasant smoke or other odour, rust underneath, or other faults which are impossible to know without inspection.
